Keenling legal

Terms of use

This is the agreement between you and Keenling. It is short, because Keenling is a small free beta and there is not much to argue about yet. Using Keenling means you accept it.

Last updated 7 August 2026.

Written by the people who build Keenling, by reading our own source code and describing what it actually does. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer. We would rather publish something accurate and plain now than something polished and vague later. If you spot a sentence that does not match what you experience, tell us at [email protected] and we will fix it.

Keenling is educational guidance, not medical advice

Keenling suggests everyday activities and the words to say. It does not assess, screen, diagnose, score, rank, or track your child against anyone else. It is not medical, psychological, therapeutic, or developmental advice, and it is not a substitute for a paediatrician, a therapist, a teacher, or any other qualified professional.

If you are worried about your child’s development, health, speech, hearing, behaviour, or wellbeing, talk to a professional. Do not use Keenling — or the absence of anything in Keenling — to decide whether something is wrong or fine.

Missions are written by an AI model, checked automatically for age-appropriateness, and sometimes come from a set written in advance by us. None of that makes them right for your particular child on a particular day. You are the adult in the room. Skip anything that does not fit.

Who we are, and who this is for

Keenling is operated by Early Bright Global LLC. It is offered to adults in the United States who are a parent or caregiver of the child whose profile they create.

  • You must be 18 or older to have an account.
  • You must have the authority to give us the information you enter about a child.
  • Keenling is not offered in the European Union or the United Kingdom.
  • Your child does not get an account. Keenling is written for you to read, not for them to use.

Your account

You sign in with Google or with a one-time link sent to your email address. Anyone who can read your email can sign in as you, so keep that mailbox secure. Tell us at [email protected] if you think someone else has access to your account.

You are responsible for what is done through your account.

What it costs

Nothing. Keenling is free during the beta. There is no card, no trial countdown, and nothing to cancel.

If we introduce pricing later, we will say so clearly and you will choose before anything is charged. We will not convert a free beta account into a paid subscription without an explicit decision from you.

Safety — please read this one

Missions happen in real life, with a real child, in your home or your car. You decide whether an idea is safe and suitable before you try it.

  • Never leave a child unattended near water, and never reduce supervision at bath time because a mission mentions it.
  • If a mission is written for the car, it is voice-only. If you are driving, keep your eyes on the road and never turn around. Let a passenger lead it, or do it another time.
  • Watch for choking hazards with small objects, and for allergies and food pressure at mealtimes.
  • Stop any activity the moment your child is not enjoying it. Nothing in Keenling is a target, a streak, or an obligation.

If you ever see a mission that is unsafe or wrong for the stated age, please send it to us. That is the single most useful message you can send during a beta.

What you put into Keenling

Your family’s information stays yours. You give us permission to use it to run the service — to generate missions, illustrate them, send your emails and notifications, and improve how Keenling works.

  • Use first names only. Do not enter surnames, full birthdays, addresses, schools, medical details, or anyone else’s personal information in the notes field.
  • Do not enter information about a child you are not responsible for.
  • Everything we do with what you enter is described on the privacy page, including the exact list of companies that see any part of it.

Fair use

Please do not:

  • Scrape, bulk-download, or republish Keenling’s missions.
  • Resell Keenling or pass it off as your own product.
  • Attack, probe, or overload the service, or try to reach another family’s data.
  • Use Keenling to build a competing dataset or to train another model on its output.

Mission content and the Keenling name belong to us. You may use missions freely with your own family — that is what they are for.

What we do not promise

Keenling is an early beta, provided as it is. We do not promise it will always be available, that a mission will always arrive, that an email will always be delivered, or that the product will not change. Features can appear and disappear while we work out what helps.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Keenling is provided without warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from using it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

There is no arbitration clause on this page, and no class-action waiver. We are not going to slip one past you in a beta.

Ending it

You can stop at any time. Deleting your data is described on the deleting your data page, and unsubscribing takes one tap from any email.

We may suspend or close an account that abuses the service or puts other families at risk, and we may discontinue the beta. If we shut Keenling down, we will give you notice and a way to get your family’s record out first.

Changes to these terms

We will change the date at the top when we change this page, and email you about anything material before it takes effect. This version is dated 7 August 2026.
